Indiana, PA – The Indiana County Chamber of Commerce at its annual member
luncheon today announced the 2017 class of inductees for the Indiana County Business
Hall of Fame.
Chamber Board of Directors Chairman Greg Sipos with First Commonwealth Bank made
the announcement during his comments.
“We are pleased to again have another great class of individuals selected for induction
into the Indiana County Business Hall of Fame,” Sipos said. “Indiana County is fortunate
to have so many deserving people committed to improving and growing our business
community. This year’s class is a great representation of that successful effort.”
The Hall of Fame selection committee voted and stack ranked all of the nominees in two
categories, living and deceased. The following individuals are those who ranked the
highest and will represent the second class of the Hall of Fame in 2017:
Dr. Willis E. Pratt, the 16th and final president of Indiana State Teachers College and the first president of IUP
Cecil Spadafora, Colonial Motor Mart and Meadow Lane Golf Course
E. James Trimarchi, Jr., the first president and CEO of First Commonwealth Financial Corporation
Jack W. Clark, Jr., Clark Metal Products
Chuck Spadafora, Colonial Motor Mart, Colonial Toyota and Mark Arbuckle Nissan
Lucy Donnelly, Indiana Gazette
The third class of inductees will be officially entered into the hall during a formal
dinner at the Kovalchick Complex June 8th, 2017. The Business Hall of Fame is located on the
wall near the ticket counter in the Kovalchick Complex lobby.
Nominations submitted but not selected for the Hall of Fame will be kept by the Chamber
of Commerce for a period of 5 years from the date of application. These nominations
will be included each year along with the new applications for selection into the Business
Hall of Fame.
